Emmanuel Community School Beam Park will be a two-form entry primary school which means that when the school is at full capacity there will be 60 pupils in each year group. When the school opens there will also be a 30-place nursery.
Emmanuel Community School Beam Park will also have an Additional Resourced Provision (ARP) for Communication and Interaction Needs for pupils with an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder).
The school is proposed to open in September 2025.
Emmanuel Community School Beam Park will be a new non-selective two form of entry primary school (2 FE) with capacity for 420 pupils aged 4 to 11 years with a 30 FTE -place nursery and a specialist provision unit for 12 pupils with an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan).
The school is currently being built within the Beam Park development and will serve the existing population as well as the new development in South Rainham. Beam Park is a new urban development of about 3000 new homes and it is anticipated that student numbers will increase over time as new houses are built and occupants move in. The school aims to offer outstanding and broad-based education to make a very positive impact in its local area. This involves innovative teaching and learning, along with a wrap-around enrichment programme with positive role models and family support to respond to the needs of local parents.
Emmanuel Community School Beam Park will be situated in a brand new, purpose-built facilities on a site within the Beam Park development. Developments in the local area will eventually provide 3000 new high-quality houses.
